We are now seeking an exceptional Head of IT Product Development & Delivery (ITPDD) to join our Technology and Information Services (TIS) Senior Leadership Team.
About the Role
As a senior leader within TIS, you will drive the delivery of robust, high-quality digital services that support staff, students, and partners across the University. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our digital ecosystem—ensuring seamless, end-to-end user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and technical leadership across:
- Infrastructure Services
- Solution Design
- Technical Design Authority
- Continuous DevOps
- Champion modern software practices, using ITIL, Agile, and DevOps methodologies
- Drive continuous improvement in digital capability and service delivery
- Ensure structured, efficient processes across IT services
- Collaborate across the University to align IT services with evolving business needs
- Bring sector and industry insight to enhance innovation and strategic delivery
About You
- Extensive experience across the full IT lifecycle within a medium-sized organisation
- Strong understanding of business systems, operational processes, and information-led environments
- Expertise in contemporary software development practices and trends
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
- Professional knowledge and practical experience in ITIL v3, PRINCE2, and/or Agile
- Relevant IT qualification
Working Arrangements
- Hybrid role with minimum 2 days per week on-site
