Glasgow College UESTC invites dedicated and ambitious academics to contribute to a leading transnational education partnership between the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) and the University of Glasgow (UofG), located in the western technology hub of China, Chengdu.
You will play a central role in delivering world class English-medium teaching to more than 3,000 students across our dual-degree undergraduate programmes in Electronic Information Engineering, Communications Engineering, Microelectronics, and Software Engineering.
We seek talented academics from the domains of Information and Communications Technology, Microelectronics and Computer Science. We have positions available at all levels: tenure-track Assistant Professor, tenure-track Associate Professor, tenured Associate Professor, Full Professor, and Eminent Professor.
Your primary responsibilities to Glasgow College UESTC will be to:
Academic staff appointed to these roles are expected to conduct cutting edge research under the auspices and governance of UESTC. You will work within one of China’s highest‑performing research environments.
Successful candidates will be expected to be based full‑time at the College’s Chengdu campus in China.
