The University of Greenwich has recently launched a new Greenwich Doctoral College (GDC). This represents a significant commitment on the part of the university to improve the postgraduate research experience and create a more developmental and progressive approach that better supports our postgraduate researchers’ journey and future. This follows the appointment of Professor Steve Miles in February, 2025 who is leading the GDC to deliver an ambitious outward-looking doctoral college that maximise external relationships and funding opportunities.
The Senior Doctoral College Programmes Officer is responsible for the operational delivery of Doctoral Services from registration through to thesis submission. This includes a range of quality assurance, compliance and administrative activities for research degree programmes including those associated with PULSE. The role is concerned with ensuring these are being implemented and applied in accordance with established frameworks and contribute to the provision of an optimal environment for postgraduate researchers.
