The Opportunity:
Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Genome Molecular Biology
The laboratory of Dr Lukas Tamayo-Orrego is hiring a Postdoctoral Scientist, a position fully funded by an MRC award. The candidate will become the first lab postdoc, joining a small group of rotation students and a research assistant. You will work closely with group members to deliver our research programme and also develop your own research project within the team. We investigate DNA replication using multiple model systems from cells to organoids and mice, aiming to understand the regulation of DNA replication speed and how this process impacts brain development and growth. We collaborate closely with research groups within the Cell and Genome Biology Theme at IGC and with the neurodevelopmental labs at INCR.

We value colleagues with drive, determination and a passion for discovery research.
