About The Role

Operations Assistant
This full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis.

The starting salary will be from £25,528 to £26,694 on Grade B, depending on knowledge, skills and experience.

We are looking for enthusiastic sport-minded professionals to join our team as an Operations Assistant at the University of Exeter Sports Office.

This position will be based at Sports Park, including seasonal work at the outdoor pool and St Lukes Sport Centre. Therefore, an NPLQ and/or Level 2 Gym qualification would be desirable (but not essential) for this role.

Working as part of a team you will be responsible for the efficient, safe operation of the three sites and for delivering high standards of service across all facilities. This will include lifeguarding (where qualified), set ups and take downs of all equipment, supervising the gyms and maintaining cleanliness of all facilities.

Experience of working in a similar environment and dealing with a varied cross-section of customers is desirable along with an awareness of health and safety issues. A proactive approach, an eye for detail and a team-minded attitude with a desire to succeed is of equal importance.

Please ensure you read the Job Description and Person Specification (available on the university's website, accessed by the 'Apply' button) for full details of this role.
