The School of Law is seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative individual to engage in teaching and research in the fields of equality and human rights law. You will contribute to learning and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and undertake associated administrative tasks and will undertake research and/or scholarship of international excellence and contribute to knowledge exchange activities relative to the discipline. The post is available on either the Research & Teaching track or Learning, Teaching and Scholarship track.
You will be located within the School’s GO Justice Centre which aims to empower individuals and communities to use the law to access justice and achieve fair outcomes. We do this by researching law and social justice, addressing unmet legal need and embedding core professional values in legal education.
The School of Law is ranked 44th amongst law schools globally in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025. It is a centre for innovative world leading research and excellence in education. We are proud to be an international law school with a rich heritage. Law was one of the four original faculties established by the University upon its founding in 1451. The subject has been taught continuously since 1714. Today, we teach students from over 30 countries with staff from across the world.
