We’re looking for a Business Development Coordinator to join our Global Education Solutions team at an incredibly exciting time.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is passionate about education, international partnerships and turning great conversations into meaningful opportunities. You’ll be right at the centre of our growth activity: spotting new prospects, managing early-stage enquiries, supporting proposals and pitches, and helping us build strong relationships with clients across the education and qualifications sector.
You’ll love sinking your teeth into this role if you enjoy variety, pace and purpose. One day you might be researching a new market or preparing for a conference; the next, you could be helping shape a proposal, speaking with a prospective client or working with colleagues to bring a new opportunity to life.
This is a role for someone commercially minded, organised and confident with people — someone who can see the potential in an enquiry, ask the right questions, and help move things forward. You’ll be joining a collaborative, specialist team whose work supports education systems, institutions and organisations around the world.
At Ecctis, our vision is to be the acknowledged global leader in the international qualifications and recognition arena. Our mission is to be the preferred source of expert advice on the recognition and comparability of qualifications and skills internationally, building on our advanced research and our established knowledge and experience of education systems across the world. Ecctis delivers a wide range of services, products, and projects in the field of international education. We help make sense of international qualifications and support a range of clients including individuals, universities, and colleges, awarding bodies and government ministries.
The work is varied, and the atmosphere is enthusiastic, collegial and supportive. There are opportunities to develop specialisms and to lead research and training for countries and regions.
The Business Development Coordinator supports the growth and commercial success of Global Education Solutions (GES) by driving lead generation, coordinating early-stage client engagement, and managing business development processes and systems. As a key point of contact for prospective clients, the role ensures smooth progression through the sales pipeline and maintains effective communication and relationship management.
The role involves identifying new market opportunities, supporting marketing and outreach activities, and representing GES at external events to generate leads. It also contributes to the development of proposals and sales materials, while maintaining accurate data, pipeline tracking and performance reporting to support decision-making.
The postholder also supports operational leads within GES by writing and contributing to business proposals, supporting the development of marketing materials, and communicating potential opportunities across the business.
Please note: All applicants must hold a current permit or visa showing their right to work in the UK.
This role profile sets out the scope and main duties of the post at the date when the role was created or last reviewed. Such details may vary on occasion without changing the overall scope of the role or level of responsibility required. This role profile is intended to give an overall indication of the duties and responsibilities of this role but is not exhaustive and the job holder may be asked to perform other duties, which reasonably align with the general remits of their role and level of responsibility.

Our structure allows for our combined success as an organisation to be shared equitably across the Company. The trust is indirect, meaning that eligible employees are not shareholders directly, however they are held ‘in-trust’ by the Trust’s Board of Directors.

In recruiting for our organisation, Ecctis Ltd is an Equal Opportunities Employer, and welcomes the unique contributions you can bring; therefore, we specifically welcome applicants of all backgrounds, regardless of race (including colour, nationality, and ethnic or national origin), sex or gender, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, religion or belief, age, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, or disability.
