Permanent, Part-time 29.60 hours per week (0.8 FTE), Wednesday to Saturday
This technician role will add to the expanding animal health and welfare team supporting a range of undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes within the Department. The appointee will have a specific role to support the delivery of companion animal related topics, in particular the day-to-day care for the companion animals. The post holder will be based within the Companion Animal House which is used extensively to support teaching and research projects for the undergraduate students, working alongside other technicians, teaching assistants and an undergraduate placement student. The team approach to teaching is well established within the Department and it is anticipated that the appointee will contribute to and support a range of modules within the portfolio determined by the skills of the appointee and the current team. The Department has an expanding research programme, and the appointee will be expected to assist in this, complementing and supporting the current research effort
