Richmond American University London Leeds Campus is seeking to appoint an Adjunct Assistant or Adjunct Associate Professor at our Richmond International Academic Soccer Academy (RIASA) in Leeds to deliver a FHEQ Level 4 course in Exercise, Nutrition and Lifestyle Management to students studying for a BA degree in Sports Management across a 15-week academic semester (3 hours of classroom-based teaching pw) with start in Spring 2027 (Orientation starts on 12/01/2027).

As Adjunct Assistant / Adjunct Associate Professor you will play an important role in the University community. You will be a highly skilled and experienced academic. You will be primarily responsible for teaching and assessing students in the American system of higher education, developing the curriculum you teach and ensuring your courses are contemporary, engaging and relevant.

The successful candidate will have proven teaching experience with an imaginative, innovative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and be able to work effectively with both academic and administrative staff, and students.

Adjunct faculty positions can be a good way to gain teaching experience and contribute to the academic community. They also offer flexibility and the opportunity to remain engaged in professional practice or other activities.
