Wadham College invites applications for a fixed-term Fellowship by Special Election in Law, named the Wadham College Law Society Fellowship, from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2030.
This early-career fellowship combines teaching and research and is intended to support an outstanding scholar at an early stage of their academic career. The successful candidate will be elected to a Fellowship from 1 September 2026, with the first year held on a probationary basis.
The College wishes to appoint a candidate able to teach at least two, and preferably three, of the following subjects: Trusts, Land Law, European Union Law, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, and Jurisprudence.

The postholder will be expected to pursue an active programme of research and contribute to the academic life of both the College and the Faculty of Law. They will undertake undergraduate tutorial teaching, assist with admissions, student support, and course administration, and participate in the wider life of the College, including outreach and alumni engagement activities.
The teaching stint is six contact hours per week on average across the academic year.
