Role 1: 1 FTE / 35 Hours per week; South East UK based (2 year fixed term)
Role 2: 0.8 FTE / 28 Hours per week; North UK based (2 year fixed term)
These are remote/hybrid roles requiring regular travel to work with academic partners.
Plymouth Marjon University is seeking to recruit two Academic Liaison Tutors to support our growing Academic Partnership Network (APN). These roles involve close engagement with collaborative academic partners and oversight of programmes across Levels 3–7.
Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for colleagues with experience of higher education teaching, academic quality processes, and collaborative partnership working.
You will have strong communication and relationship-building skills and be confident supporting partners in relation to:
You should be able to work independently while maintaining strong collaborative relationships across distributed partnership networks.
Experience of partnership management, programme leadership, quality assurance, or academic liaison activity would be highly advantageous.
We are also interested in candidates who may have experience of data science, although this is not an essential requirement for the role.
What you’d be doing:
You will provide academic advice and support to collaborative partners across a range of operational and developmental areas, including:
You will work closely with colleagues across the Academic Partnership Network to ensure collaborative provision aligns with University standards, regulatory expectations, and the University’s values-led approach to higher education.
The role also involves maintaining effective communication channels between partner organisations and the University and supporting the enhancement of the student learning experience.

Both roles will involve remote working alongside partner visits and occasional attendance at Plymouth Marjon University.
