Support Students to Succeed
The University of Greater Manchester is seeking a motivated and student-focused individual to join the Directorate of Student Services & Experience as a Student Advisor.
This is a key front-facing role providing high-quality information, advice and guidance to prospective and current students. You will play an important part in ensuring students are supported to navigate their university experience, access services, and overcome any barriers to success.
The Role
Reporting to the Team Leader: Student Support, Advice and Funding, you will act as a first point of contact for a wide range of student enquiries.
Working within a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you will deliver responsive, accurate, and professional advice across a broad range of areas including student funding, financial support, disability & Inclusion and wellbeing services, and general student support.
You will utilise a range of delivery methods, including face-to-face, digital platforms, and drop-in sessions, ensuring students can access support in ways that meet their needs.

A relevant qualification in customer service, advice and guidance, or equivalent experience is desirable.
