We are looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to drive innovative research into the cellular and molecular mechanisms underpinning liver fibrosis. The successful candidate will design and deliver innovative experiments using techniques including single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, human tissue ex vivo models, and pre-clinical in vivo models, while contributing to other collaborative projects within a dynamic research environment.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • A PhD or equivalent professional qualification and/or experience in liver fibrosis research
  • Strong background in human precision cut liver tissue slicing (PCLS), culture and downstream processing
  • Experience in processing of human liver tissue for downstream single cell, single nuclei and spatial transcriptomics workflows
  • Skilled in 10x Chromium single cell and 10x spatial transcriptomics workflows
  • Skilled in 10x single cell/nuclei RNAseq and spatial transcriptomics analysis pipelines
