The Strathclyde Maritime Institute of Engineering (SMIOE) at Dalian Maritime University (DMU) invites applications for English Language Instructor positions. The successful candidate will teach academic English to engineering students. DMU is one of China’s key universities listed under the national “Project 211” and “Double First-Class” University Plan. DMU is located in the northeast of Dalian, China, a beautiful coastal city. The main languages of instruction at the university are Chinese and English.
SMIOE is a Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run institute between Dalian Maritime University (Dalian, China) and the University of Strathclyde (Glasgow, UK). SMIOE introduces top teaching resources from the Faculty of Engineering at Strathclyde, combined with DMU’s academic advantages on marine-related programs. SMIOE offers three undergraduate programs in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering with Management and Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. The Institute's mission is to cultivate innovative, talented maritime-focused engineers who can be successful in any global market.

Salary will be finally determined by the university based on level of qualifications and years of experience, and it can reach 35,000 yuan including class hour fees
