We are ambitious and have a bold vision of what we want to achieve - shaping ourselves into one of the best universities in the world, which we are achieving through the talents and endeavour of every employee.

About the Role
The University of Surrey is seeking a highly organised and proactive Faculty Administrator within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences to provide comprehensive administrative support across a busy Faculty environment. You will play a key role in enabling the smooth delivery of academic, research, teaching, and strategic activity, working closely with academic, clinical, research, and professional services colleagues.
You will coordinate meetings, committees, and events; support research and programme related activity; manage enquiries; and ensure accurate and timely preparation of agendas, papers, minutes, and actions. The role also includes supporting financial and operational processes, visitor coordination, and the maintenance of shared administrative systems and records. You will also contribute to Faculty events, seminars, conferences, and strategic initiatives, the Pan University Institute, programme support and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion activities.
About You
You will be an organised, dependable, and detail focused administrator with experience of working in a busy office environment. You will be confident managing competing priorities, working accurately to deadlines, and communicating effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. A collaborative approach and a professional, service-focused attitude are essential, along with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Strong IT skills and confidence in standard administrative systems are required. Experience of supporting meetings, committees, or financial processes would be an advantage, as would familiarity with higher education or a complex organisational environment.

Please complete the application form and attach an up to date CV and cover letter explaining what has drawn you to this role. Applications without a CV will not be considered.
