The Department of Biomedical Science and Physiology at the University of Wolverhampton is seeking to appoint an inspiring and experienced Senior Lecturer in Medical Sciences to lead our new accelerated undergraduate Medical Sciences degree.
As Course Leader, you will bring a strong track record of academic leadership and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching, assessment, and curriculum development. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering an innovative programme, ensuring an excellent student experience across undergraduate and postgraduate provision.
We welcome applications from candidates with either a clinical healthcare background or an active research profile. You will have expertise in a relevant medical science discipline, with experience in anatomy and physiology and clinical skills education. You will contribute to teaching through lectures, seminars, and practical and clinical skills sessions.
Applicants should hold a first degree in a relevant discipline and either a PhD or an MSc with significant clinical practice experience. Membership of a relevant professional body and a commitment to continuing professional development are desirable.
