The Senior Vice President (Operations), Jeremy Cook OBE, is responsible for the smooth conduct of the operations of the University, including overall services and operations strategy, structures, processes, and delivery along with continuous quality improvement and innovation.
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive professional to lead the operational management and delivery of the university’s quarterly review process for Professional Services, including support for the Integrated Planning Process (IPP). The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring financial performance, tracking service efficiencies and ensuring alignment with Strategy 2030 objectives.
About the role:
This role is responsible for the operational management, coordination and successful delivery of the university’s quarterly review process for Professional Services, with a particular focus on supporting the Integrated Planning Process. Reporting to and working closely with the Director of Planning and Performance, the post holder will ensure that Directorates and Faculty Professional Services are effectively monitoring and achieving their financial and operational performance targets.
The successful candidate will play a central role in developing and managing quarterly review processes, including establishing timelines, coordinating reporting requirements and ensuring the accurate tracking of financial efficiencies and performance outcomes. A key aspect of the role involves monitoring service efficiency initiatives, measuring benefits realisation from transformation programmes and supporting the transition of improvement projects into sustainable business-as-usual operations.
This is a full-time post, and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
The position is hybrid, with a minimum of two days per week on campus, increasing during key review and planning periods.
