Flexible Working
This role is to join the Global Online MBA (Warwick & London) (and Global Central Banking Qualification) programme team within the Masters Portfolio at Warwick Business School. This position is for maternity cover. You will be joining 4 other Deputy Programme Managers, 8 Programme Co-ordinators and a Programme Manager. Our team looks after around 1300 live students who are at varying stages of their programmes, with cohorts linked to either the University of Warwick campus, or our Shard location. Although our student interaction is mostly done in a virtual format (email, Teams, forums, phone calls etc), our students do partake in residential teaching weeks so in-person interaction does take place too.
We share a light and airy office with the teams of the other Masters programmes in the School, close to central campus and all the amenities it offers. The Office regularly holds events to encourage staff comradery and actively supports wellbeing.
In this busy and varied role you will be directly responsible for providing consistent and high quality administrative support for a course within the Masters portfolio at Warwick Business School. As a key player in a team supporting students and faculty on our world-renowned, triple accredited online & face to face delivered MBA course, you will lead on defined aspects of course delivery, provide frontline pastoral support to students, plan and organise events and ensure the accurate maintenance of student records. You will also have day-to-day line management responsibility for Programme Coordinators in the programme group.
The post is primarily based at WBS at the University of Warwick although there may be occasions where the post holder will be required to support events which are delivered from The Shard in London and other off-campus locations. This will include weekends and evenings for which you will get good notice and for which time off in lieu will be granted. The current business needs allow for some hybrid working where the team may work remotely on 2 days a week.
About You
You will have experience of delivering excellent customer service online and in person. You will have excellent teamwork and line management skills and experience of effectively working in a matrix organisational context.
Evidence of well-developed organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills will be required. You will have strong communication skills and a high level of IT literacy. Experience of providing administrative support to Masters level programmes would be advantageous.
