An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer to join the School of Health Sciences to deliver lectures and seminars and carry out teaching-related duties.
Teaching is a key part of this role and as such you will be expected to plan, teach and assess undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, taking responsibility for the delivery and assessment of specific modules. This will include organising modules and developing teaching and learning materials.
You will be an NMC registered midwife, with a higher degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area (or be due to complete within 6 months of starting work) and experience of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and student assessment at all levels including coursework and examinations. Supervision experience at postgraduate level and experience in relevant enterprise and engagement activities would be advantageous.
This part time post (0.8 FTE) is available from 3 August 2026 on a fixed term basis for up to one year to cover a period of maternity leave.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
