About us:

King’s Business School (KBS) is part of King’s College London, one of the world’s leading research‑intensive universities. Located at Bush House on the Strand Campus, the School brings together internationally recognised academics, students and professional services colleagues to deliver outstanding education, research and civic impact.

KBS is committed to continuous improvement and global excellence, underpinned by its engagement with leading international accreditation bodies (including AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA) and participation in major global rankings such as the Financial Times and QS. These external benchmarks play a critical role in shaping the School’s strategy, enhancing its global reputation, and ensuring the highest standards of academic quality and student experience.

The Strategic Project team plays a key role in enabling this ambition, working in close partnership with academic leadership and Professional Services teams to deliver complex, high-impact strategic initiatives. This is an exciting time to join KBS as it continues to strengthen its external positioning and build on its growing international profile.

About the role:

The Strategic Project Manager (Accreditation & Rankings) is responsible for leading the delivery of strategic accreditation and rankings activity that underpins the School’s global reputation and long-term ambitions.

The Strategic Project Manager (Accreditation & Rankings) will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of accreditation processes, including the production of key documentation such as Self-Evaluation Reports and Continuous Improvement Reviews, and ensuring the successful planning and execution of accreditation visits. The post holder will be accountable for driving high-quality outcomes, maintaining ongoing compliance, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the School.

Alongside accreditation, the role will lead the School’s engagement with major global rankings, overseeing the collection, validation and submission of complex datasets. The post holder will ensure all submissions are accurate, consistent and aligned with external methodologies, while also generating insightful analysis and reports to inform senior decision-making and support improvements in performance.

The role requires close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders across academic departments, Professional Services, central College functions and external contacts. The post holder will engage confidently with senior academic colleagues and leaders, building trusted relationships and influencing activity across organisational boundaries to ensure successful delivery.

Working in partnership with the Associate Dean Accreditation & Rankings, the role will play an important part in shaping and delivering the School’s accreditation and rankings strategy. It offers the opportunity to lead complex, high-profile activity, contributing directly to the School’s external standing and strategic success.

This is a full-time role and you will be offered an indefinite  contract.

The role is a hybrid role, with the expectation of a minimum of 40%/2 days per week on campus, increasing at peak times during the Accreditation & Rankings annual cycle.
