The Role
We are recruiting to the role of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Speech and Language Therapy to join our expanding team. This is an exciting time to join the team as we continue to develop Speech and Language Therapy. We are keen to continue to develop close links with practice as we teach and support the next generation of clinicians into the profession through applied and evidence-based learning experiences.
We are particularly interested in practitioners with experience in working with working with people with acquired and neurological conditions including communication and swallowing difficulties. We welcome applicants with academic experience seeking a new challenge in a growing team with scope for development and impact.
The successful candidate will have skills and experience working with adults with acquired neurological conditions and/or adult learning disabilities. Knowledge and experience of contemporary practice within Speech and Language Therapy is essential. Experience of supporting students in practice is needed, to support students as they prepare to go on practice placement and as a placement link tutor.
