About the role
If you recognise the importance of organisational resilience, love solving problems and collaborating with people and want to make a real impact across a vibrant university community, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape how the University of Plymouth prepares for and responds to disruption.
As our Resilience Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of keeping the University running smoothly, no matter what challenges arise. Working within a small, friendly and supportive team in the Business Continuity function, you’ll contribute to the development, maintenance and communication of the University’s business continuity arrangements.
You’ll collaborate with academic schools, professional services, senior leaders and operational teams across our Plymouth campuses and regional sites in Devon and Cornwall. Your work will help ensure that essential services can continue, risks are understood and the University is ready to respond effectively to anything from a local technical fault to a major incident.
This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on building relationships and wants to help create a culture of preparedness and resilience.
Using strong organisational and communication abilities to support continuity planning, recognising that in-depth EP&BC expertise is not essential, a proactive mindset and willingness to learn are key.
