About the Role:
ARU Peterborough is a brand-new campus set in the heart of Peterborough and is delivering a University in Peterborough. Our doors opened to students in September 2022 and with long term investments approaching £100 million and delivered in partnership with the local authorities will provide transformational and inclusive higher education for the city and region.
We are looking for a Lecturer in Computing, with a specific focus on Networking, who will undertake teaching, research and other academic activities across ARU Peterborough.
This post will include teaching on our Undergraduate and Postgraduate portfolio with a specific focus on Cyber Security and/or Networking subject area. You will also be expected to contribute to the supervision of taught and research students, and to the ARU Research strategy.
You will act as academic tutor and module leader for modules with several groups, leading the team and co-ordinating activities, resources and assessment. Please see the Job description for the full list of accountabilities.
You will have a Degree plus PhD or Professional Doctorate (or near completion), Higher degree or relevant professional qualification in subject discipline at post-graduate level, PG Cert in Learning and Teaching (HE) (PG Cert), HEA fellowship.
You will have successful teaching experience at HE level and/or relevant commercial and/or professional experience.
