Canterbury Christ Church University is seeking an experienced and proactive Technical Manager (Hydra) to lead the operation, development and promotion of the Hydra Simulation Suite. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting innovative teaching, research and knowledge exchange activities through the effective management of a specialist simulation environment.
About the Role
As Technical Manager (Hydra), you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic development of the Hydra Suite, ensuring that facilities, equipment and technical services are delivered to the highest standards. Working closely with academic colleagues, technical staff and students, you will support the delivery of simulation-based learning and research activities while promoting the wider use of the facility across the University and with external partners.
Key responsibilities:
Associate fellowship/fellowship of the Higher Education Academy is desirable but not essential.

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual with:
Experience within higher education, membership of a relevant professional body and recognition through the Higher Education Academy are desirable.
