About the role
We are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic Communications Co-ordinator. This is a key role within the NIHR Health Protection Research Unit (HPRU) in Respiratory Infections; a flagship partnership between Imperial College London and the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), conducting state of the art scientific research to support public health services. The post-holder will also support a new award funded by the Advanced Research and Invention Agency (ARIA) which aims to create an entirely new class of medicines that leverages the innate immune system to provide long-lasting, broad protection against many different viruses, with the potential to transform global health.
What you would be doing
You will assist in day-to-day initiation, management and execution of research programme related activities, key duties include, leading Patient and Public Involvement, Engagement and Participation (PPIEP) activities; events organisation and coordinating internal and external communications across academic institutions, government, industry, and funding partners, including, to support knowledge mobilisation activities to maximise the translation and adoption of research programme outputs.
