About the role:

As a Digital Education Librarian, you will create and provide operational management of online Library learning and development activities that enhance the experience of individuals from across the King's community and support the Student Success strand of Strategy 2030. You will collaborate with Libraries & Collections colleagues and the wider King's community to design inclusive and accessible online learning activities that develop the information literacy, digital literacy, AI literacy and research skills of students, staff and NHS partners.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates looking to develop innovative digital education provision in a library context and utilise their skills and expertise in learning technology, inclusive pedagogy and emerging technologies to support student success. This is an opportunity to grow your expertise in harnessing technological advances to develop accessible learning interventions and co-create future-focused information and digital literacy provision across a large and diverse service.

You will work collaboratively to co-manage a large and motivated team and contribute to division-wide governance and service development. You will be encouraged to take responsibility for your own performance and development, through agreeing clear objectives, maintaining professional awareness, participating in professional networks and reflecting on own performance.

You will be required to participate in frontline services as required, including contributing towards a Manager on Duty rota for evening and weekend working.

This is a full-time post and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
