Job Description

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to contribute as an important member of a national institution. This role is critical to our charity’s plans for growth and sustainability, working to extend the profile and achievements of one of the most iconic destinations in Wales. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is a world leading centre of excellence for conservation, scientific research, education and sustainability, and is also a leading Welsh visitor destination.

You are most likely to have an excellent track record and drive to achieve fundraising targets. You will have an understanding and commitment to the botanic garden’s mission.

You will work with the Director, Trustees, Senior Leaders and charity stakeholders to realise growth and sustainability for the charity.  You will be responsible for donor cultivation and stewardship, as well as meeting income targets realised through using various techniques to generate funds from multiple sources, including donations, trusts, foundations, statutory sources, the corporate sector and/or legacies.

OUTLINE DETAILS OF APPOINTMENT

The appointment will be from the soonest date which can be arranged following necessary pre-employment checks.
