Based at our Colchester campus, we are committed to preparing the next generation of health and care professionals to meet the challenges of contemporary practice.
Duties of the Role
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our School and contribute to the continued development and delivery of our education portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for education to play a key role in shaping the learning experiences of current and future health and care professionals.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively to contribute to the design, delivery, and evaluation of high-quality curricula, ensuring that programmes remain current, evidence-informed, and responsive to workforce and service priorities.
The postholder will undertake teaching, assessment, and academic support activities across the School, with a particular focus on programmes within the Nursing Subject Group. They will be committed to providing an outstanding student experience through engaging, inclusive, and innovative approaches to teaching and learning. In addition, they will support students and practice assessors within practice placement settings, helping to bridge the integration of academic learning and professional practice.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the School’s educational leadership, scholarship, and quality enhancement activities, working with colleagues to foster a culture of excellence in teaching and learning and to support the continued growth and success of our nursing provision.
