About Us
The School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences is seeking to appoint a Veterinary Nursing Science Lecturer/Senior Lecturer on a permanent contract, contributing to the design, delivery, and assessment of teaching across both our FdSc Veterinary Nursing and BSc (Hons) Top-Up Courses.
The successful applicant will have excellent veterinary nursing knowledge and practice skills, including radiography & laboratory skills, animal husbandry, and general veterinary nursing skills.
We welcome applications from candidates who have a degree in Veterinary Nursing or Veterinary Science/Medicine and are registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) as a registered veterinary nurse (RVN) or veterinary surgeon (home-practising) (MRCVS).
You will play a key role in ensuring an excellent student experience and strong student outcomes across both courses. The post holder will be an effective communicator and a collaborative academic, able to work closely with colleagues across the department in an inclusive and supportive culture.
Our approach is innovative and inclusive. We feel it makes us that little bit different. It is our goal to have a positive impact on the planet by improving the well-being of environments, animals, plants, and people. If you see that passion in yourself, we can be a new, powerful partner in your career.
