The Business Analytics and Information Systems Department conducts teaching, research and engagement activities in various aspects of analytics and IS/ICT. The department fosters a thriving teaching innovation and research culture in the Department, which has a strong reputation for being both rigorous and relevant.
As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking inspirational, inclusive and highly motivated professionals to contribute to the development of the Department’s teaching, PhD/DBA supervision, research and enterprise activities. We welcome discussions with prospective candidates whose teaching portfolio includes digital forensics, cybersecurity management, cryptocurrencies, blockchains and fintech.
You will have a good first degree and a PhD in a relevant academic discipline. It would be desirable to be able to demonstrate an emerging record of funding, publication of research outputs and creation of research-based impacts in industry and/or society. We are especially looking for people with a strong research profile in the areas of VFAs and cryptocurrencies, blockchain and fintech. The applicant is expected to join the Cyber Security Innovation (CSI) Centre. The Centre brings together stakeholders from industry, government and prominent cybersecurity research institutions. The scope of the international Cyber Security & Innovation Centre is to strategically manage operations and build effective relationships across academia, industry, and policymakers.
