Join DTU Entrepreneurship as Assistant or Associate Professor and help shape the future of technology entrepreneurship and innovation at DTU.
We are looking for a faculty colleague with excellent research, strong teaching capabilities and an interest in topics such as deep tech entrepreneurship, innovation ecosystems, entrepreneurship education and the financing and scaling of technology-based ventures.
Responsibilities and qualifications
The Department of Technology Entrepreneurship at the Technical University of Denmark invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor position within technology entrepreneurship, innovation, and entrepreneurship education.
We seek a faculty colleague who combines strong social science capabilities with an understanding of both technology and entrepreneurship. Applicants may come from a broad range of disciplinary backgrounds, including social science, management, entrepreneurship, innovation studies, engineering, or STEM-related fields, provided they demonstrate strong interest in technology entrepreneurship and innovation. The position is aimed at candidates who are excited by both research and teaching and who wish to contribute actively to DTU Entrepreneurship’s broad portfolio of educational and research activities.
The successful candidate is expected to contribute across several of DTU Entrepreneurship’s teaching activities, including e.g. Innovation in Engineering, the MSc in Technology Entrepreneurship, X-Tech and executive education.
We are particularly interested in candidates whose research relates to areas such as:
The ideal candidate combines a strong interest in teaching and educational development with an ambition to build an internationally recognized research profile. We are looking for a colleague who not only excels in the classroom but also contributes actively to research, publications, external funding applications, and the continued development of DTU Entrepreneurship as an internationally leading environment for technology entrepreneurship research and education.
Candidates must hold a PhD or equivalent within entrepreneurship, innovation, organization studies, engineering education, science and technology studies, management, engineering, STEM disciplines with a strong innovation or entrepreneurship orientation, or a related field.
