Saïd Business School is seeking a proactive and highly organised Senior Research Administrator to join our Research Office, supporting the newly established Oxford-UBS Centre for Applied AI – an exciting collaboration driving cutting-edge research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, business and society.
As Senior Research Administrator, you'll provide comprehensive administrative and operational support across a wide range of activities, including research projects, grants, finance, ethics, events and stakeholder engagement. You’ll balance immediate priorities with longer-term projects while working collaboratively with academic and professional colleagues across the University.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting research grant applications and post-award administration
- Coordinating recruitment for research staff and research participants
- Organising meetings, seminars, workshops and outreach events
- Monitoring project budgets and supporting financial reporting
- Preparing professional reports, correspondence and research documentation
You will have substantial experience in research administration or project management within a higher education environment. You will also have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively, manage competing priorities and meet multiple deadlines. Additionally, you will possess strong numerical and IT skills, including experience using spreadsheets and a range of digital systems, alongside exceptional attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality documentation.
