We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Assistant Hospitality Manager to support the delivery of high-quality front of house operations within our Campus Services team at the University of Bath.
About the role
In this role, you will manage the day-to-day running of your catering outlets, ensuring excellent customer service standards are consistently achieved while maintaining compliance with financial controls, Health & Safety, Licensing Law and HACCP requirements
You will lead and develop a team of hospitality staff, supporting recruitment, training & performance, while working collaboratively with the wider Hospitality management team to enhance our food and beverage offer and overall customer experience. You’ll also oversee stock, rotas & operational standards, ensuring an efficient, well-organised service in a fast-paced environment.
About you
We’re looking for someone with strong front-of-house management experience, a passion for delivering excellent service, and the ability to motivate and develop teams. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential, alongside a sound understanding of relevant legislation and financial processes.

This is a full-time role, working 36.5 hours per week.
The outlets are open 7 days a week and you will be required to work on a 5 out of 7 rotating pattern covering early mornings, evenings & weekends.
