Lecturer in Geography

We would welcome applications from people looking for both a part-time or full-time role. Teaching for A-level Geography currently sits across 3 days, however we are interested to receive applications from people who could offer an additional subject in order to increase hours to full- time. Please outline details of additional subjects that you would be able to deliver within your application. 

We have an exciting opportunity in our A Levels team to teach our enthusiastic and motivated students to help them achieve their highest potential.

As a Lecturer in Geography you will:

• Deliver Year 1 and Year 2 of A Level Geography
• Produce, publish and manage effective and complete delivery programmes
• Support learners to achieve excellent progress, attendance and positive progression outcomes

We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who can promote a culture of excellent behaviour, motivation and high learner performance through excellent standards of teaching and learning. In addition, you should be an excellent team player and have a passion for supporting students to succeed.

You will have:

• A Degree in Geography or other related discipline
• GCSEs A*-C/9-4 in English and Maths
• A PGCE or other recognised full teaching qualification is desirable but not essential
