PHWT is a publicly recognised private university in Lower Saxony, the west of Germany. We offer dual study programmes that combine university studies with work placements in cooperation with around 200 companies, including multinationals.
We are seeking a professor with proven technical and scientific expertise in electrical engineering and mechatronics, focusing on:
As a visionary educator and researcher, you will bridge traditional hardware and modern software, teaching mechatronic systems as interconnected, intelligent wholes, rather than individual compnents. You will inspire students through bilingual (German and English) instruction – German is essential for collaboration with regional companies, which offer extensive research opportunities.
PHWT offers a dynamic research environment in materials engineering, lightweight construction, production automation, electrical engineering, and mechatronics. You will utilize our state-of-the-art laboratories – also including industry projects – and contribute to shaping our research priorities and facilities.

You have a PhD, peer-reviewed publications, a professional network and will have gained a minimum of three years of practical experience outside higher education. PHWT is subject to Section 25 of the Lower Saxony Higher Education Act.
