Purpose of the role
The Scottish Episcopal Institute (SEI) is seeking a six month fixed-term interim principal to guide the institution through a time of transition. In the past few months, this theological education institute (TEI) has experienced the departure of the previous Principal and a change of location.
The Interim Principal, working with colleagues in SEI, the Institute Council, and in the General Synod of the Scottish Episcopal Church (GSofSEC) will provide strategic, operational and pastoral leadership for SEI during this ongoing time of transition. The postholder will work collaboratively with staff and key stakeholders to maintain the academic and formational activities of SEI, strengthen governance, review structures and processes, and ensure the Institute is well positioned for future sustainability and development.
