- THE ROLE -

The postholder will be a full-time, dedicated researcher for the EU DS3 in the School of Computing, Engineering and Intelligent Systems (SCEIS), responsible for supporting the Project Coordinator in the delivery of all contractual responsibilities to the funding body alongside the Belfast School of Architecture and the Built Environment (BSABE).

DS3 is an EU PEACEPLUS-funded cross-border project, led by the Irish Central Border Area Network, which seeks to engage SMEs, micro businesses, community and voluntary organisations and citizens in a variety of activities which will help close the ICT skills gap in rural communities. The project will be carried out in towns and villages with a population of less than 18,000 across seven council areas. Ulster will manage the creation and deployment of a digital platform.

- ABOUT YOU -

- Degree in Computing Science or related discipline.
- Hold a PhD in a relevant area or be near completion with a thesis submitted.
- Project support experience with clear evidence of successful delivery against project objectives.
