About the role

This is a Permanent role working full-time.

As the University’s authority on quality and user experience, you will set and maintain standards that ensure digital services are well designed, accessible, robustly tested and released in a controlled and reliable way. You will lead a team of quality assurance and UX professionals, developing a clear quality framework that supports agile delivery across a diverse portfolio of enterprise systems and platforms.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on influence. You will establish and continuously improve quality and UX practices, support effective backlog prioritisation, and ensure delivery teams work in line with agreed agile and release management processes.  You will also play a key role in developing a strong UX community of practice across the organisation, promoting shared standards and professional development.

This is an excellent opportunity to shape how quality and user experience are embedded within a complex, mission‑driven organisation, and to make a tangible impact on the digital services that support students, staff and partners across Swansea University.
