Cosing date: Midnight, Thursday 6th August
We are seeking a Careers Consultant to strategically embed careers and enterprise in the curriculum across Regent’s.
You will work closely with academic colleagues to develop, coordinate and design our curriculum offer, ensuring that the educational development approaches are connected to support the delivery of high-quality student and graduate outcomes across the student life cycle.
You will provide support to course leaders and colleagues, by building relationships and finding innovative ways to collaborate across the institution. You will also identify ways for industry to collaborate with Regent’s as part of the Industry Connectivity strategic objective and will contribute to thought leadership in career development and enterprise.
To be successful, you should have a background of successfully developing, managing, and delivering careers advice and guidance, with an in-depth understanding of career transitions, graduate labour market and career change. You should have an in-depth knowledge of the global graduate employment market and of future growth areas in a range of industries. Personalised education is what we do, and we believe that every student is unique and exceptional, so you’ll also be customer focused with great communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong interest in the student journey.
This is an exciting opportunity to have direct impact on the future of our students and graduates, through creating innovative and inspiring interventions within the curriculum.
Whilst we offer flexible and hybrid working across the University, you will be required to work on-campus at least 3-days per week. The role is predominantly based on standard working hours; however occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support key events and activities. We aim to provide advance notice wherever possible and offer flexibility to ensure these commitments can be accommodated alongside a healthy work-life balance.
Interviews will likely be held in-person, at our beautiful Regent’s Park campus on Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th August.
