Our projects are interdisciplinary and navigate across complex innovation systems where a human-centred and technology-oriented mindset is necessary to tackle wicked societal challenges. With a focus on human-centered design, we explore methodologies for designing and facilitating innovation processes by incorporating the principles of participatory design and user involvement and we aim to develop frameworks that guide innovation processes towards meaningful and user-centric outcomes. Central to our work is a commitment to foster collaboration across disciplines and ecosystems. We engage in projects that bring together diverse actors and competences, particularly in areas such as healthcare and manufacturing industry.
We are looking for a candidate who can contribute to our research in technology implementation throughout innovation, human-centred - and participatory design processes. The candidate we are seeking has a good understanding of innovation processes and technology and how it can be put into practice in corporate innovation systems and entrepreneurship ecosystems. The ideal candidate is able to elevate the understanding of stakeholder interactions in innovation and technology implementation processes within and across collaboration networks and ecosystems.
The successful candidate must initiate and publish research in peer-reviewed international journals, present research at international conferences, apply for external funding in Denmark and internationally and disseminate scientific knowledge to students and practice. Prior experience in securing external research funding and managing research projects is highly valued and considered an advantage.
As our new colleague, you will also teach and supervise students and doctoral candidates and participate in exam-related work at all levels of the Department’s study programs (bachelor, master, professional, and PhD) within innovation processes, human-centred design, and implementation of technologies in organizations.
The successful candidate is also expected to be course-responsible and plan, conduct teaching, and supervise participants in DTU’s Continuing Education program: Diplom i Ledelse (https://lifelonglearning.dtu.dk/engineering-technology/diplom/diplomuddannelsen-i-ledelse/).
