UCLan London, a partner of the University of Lancashire, is an ambitious, teaching focussed HE provider, primarily aimed at a widening participation audience. Based in London’s East India Docks, UCLan London currently delivers courses related to Business, Computing, Health and Social Care, Public Health, Psychology and Mental Health and Wellbeing.
Continued growth in demand for our student-centred courses has led to the opportunity to expand our exceptional delivery team through the addition of a full-time lecturer, in areas related to Health Promotion and Public Health.
We are looking for an experienced lecturer with a solid grounding and experience in public health, particularly in areas such as health promotion, health policy, health technology and population health. The successful applicant will be employed to lecture on a range of relevant undergraduate and postgraduate modules, with possible module leading opportunities available, in areas specific to expertise.
If you are enthusiastic and motivated about your subject and supporting students to develop their academic skills, share our belief in the transformational nature of education, and wish to be rewarded for your teaching excellence, then we would like to talk to you about opportunities at UCLan London.
You will be qualified to a minimum of master's degree level in a relevant discipline, with knowledge of contemporary issues within contexts related to public health. A strong grounding in industry will be an advantage, together with fellowship (or commitment to gain fellowship) of the HEA.
You must have an existing right to live and work in the United Kingdom without restriction or caveat. All academic staff are required to teach face-to-face on campus.
