In alignment with our institutional vision, the newly established Research Strategy Team at Imperial College London aims to enhance our research ecosystem by fostering a proactive and engaged approach to research strategy development.
These positions are central to our ambition of fostering a proactive, strategic approach to research development, enhancing our engagement with funders, and driving innovation through coordinated, high-impact initiatives. By joining this newly established team as Director of Research Strategy, you will provide senior strategic leadership at the heart of our research mission.
Working closely with the Vice Provost (Research and Enterprise) and senior leaders, this role will shape Imperial’s positioning across the UK and global research landscape andenable major funding success.
What you would be doing
As Director of Research Strategy, you will lead the University’s Research Strategy Team and be responsible for the development and delivery of Imperial’s institutional research strategy. You will ensure Imperial is proactively positioned for emerging opportunities, influential in policy and funder conversations, and equipped with effective systems, governance and partnerships to deliver world leading research with global impact.
