The Recruitment and Admissions Department plays a key role in supporting the student journey from initial enquiry through to enrolment. The Recruitment Support team provides essential operational, logistical and administrative support to enable the successful delivery of recruitment activity across the UK and internationally.
We are seeking to appoint a Senior Recruitment Support Officer to lead the day-to-day operations of the Recruitment Support function. Reporting to the Associate Director of Recruitment and Admissions, the post holder will be responsible for the line management of the Recruitment Support team and for ensuring the effective coordination and delivery of support across the department.
The role requires collaboration with colleagues across Admissions, UK Recruitment & Widening Access, International Recruitment, and the Language Centre. The successful candidate will support the planning and delivery of recruitment events, visits and programmes, ensuring that all logistical and operational requirements are met to a high standard.
The post holder will also contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems, support budget management (via financial processing) and operational activity, and play a role in major institutional events such as Clearing. There will be opportunities to contribute to service development and, where required, deputise for the Associate Director.
Candidates should have experience in a similar administrative or operational role, ideally within higher education or a comparable environment. Experience of staff management, coordinating complex workloads and delivering high standards of customer service is essential.
Applicants should demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work both independently and collaboratively. A high level of attention to detail and confidence in working with data and systems is required.
