Applications are invited for the above permanent full time post working in Undeb Bangor.
The role of Chief Executive at the Undeb Bangor – Bangor University Students’ Union is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and values-driven leader. They will be responsible for shaping the future of the organisation, working closely with Students Elected Officers, Trustees, and other key stakeholders to progress the strategy and direction of the organisation.
With extensive senior leadership experience, we are looking to appoint a leader who will empower and guide our elected Student Officers, fostering continued collaboration with the University and ensuring that we remain wholly focused on supporting our diverse membership.
We thrive in an environment where student leadership changes annually, and we bring the skills needed to help our elected Student Officers hone their ideas, achieve their goals, and engage, enthuse, and empower our student membership. We place a high value on the Welsh language and the ability to work confidently within a bilingual environment. Applicants should recognise the importance of Welsh in our organisational culture and in the experience of our members. The successful candidate will be expected to use Welsh in leadership settings—whether as a fluent speaker or as a learner.
If you’re interested in working with a vibrant, dynamic charity and possess a wealth of experience and skills to bring to the team, we'd love to hear from you.
This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
Applications will also be considered to carry out this role on a part-time or job share basis.
