Lecturer in Old and New Testament (2 Posts) Online Teaching FALL 2026

Salary: $3,000 USD per course

The Reformed Episcopal Seminary was founded in 1887 for the purpose educating students for the ordained and lay ministry of the Anglican church. We are a seminary of the Reformed Episcopal Church and the Anglican Church in North America.

RES seeks to hire two lecturers for the Fall 2026 term. The successful candidates will be expected to teach one or two courses per term on a contract basis. Both positions are for ONLINE teaching, and thus available to instructors from outside the region.

Specifically, we seek a sessional lecturer in Old Testament. Courses may include the Old Testament Survey, the Pentateuch, the historical books, and the Prophets depending on teaching interest.

We also seek a sessional lecturer in New Testament. Courses for this postion may include the New Testament Survey, Gospels, Paul, and the General Epistles, depending on teaching interest.

Candidates must hold a PhD or equivalent in the appropriate discipline.
