We are advertising for an Assistant Admissions Administrator within the Postgraduate Admissions Office (PAO), the office responsible for coordinating the admission of students to postgraduate courses at the University of Cambridge.
The role is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and busy team in a central University office that provides a key service to all departments and Colleges, as well as to applicants from all over the world.
About the Role
Assistant Admissions Administrators are part of the core PAO operations team. They play a key role alongside Administrators and Senior Administrators in issuing conditional offers of admission, processing documents submitted by applicants as evidence to meet offer conditions, confirming applicants' admission once offer conditions are met; and completing processing for students requiring visas.
The Assistant Admissions Administrator will be responsible for a variety of tasks centered on data entry and analysis in databases and spreadsheets, document checking and verification, record keeping, and developing expertise in areas of higher education admissions.
The Assistant Admissions Administrator will work closely and collaboratively with other members of the team, and with colleagues across the University.
About you
The successful candidate will have good data entry and management skills, good document checking skills. They will have experience in following written process instructions and working independently balanced by an ability to collaborate and to solve problems.
