The Head of Governance, Quality and Compliance is responsible for leading and developing the governance, quality assurance and regulatory compliance framework for Sotheby’s Institute of Art (SIA) and Vogue College of Fashion (VCF).
SIA and VCF are registered with the Office for Students (OfS) and form part of the Edconic educational group. While sharing a range of services, both institutions have distinct academic partnerships and identities. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across both institutions and their leadership teams to ensure effective governance, regulatory compliance and academic quality.
Leading a small team and playing a key role within the Quality function, the postholder will support the continued development and integration of governance, compliance and quality processes, while maintaining the unique strengths of each institution. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced higher education professional to contribute strategically while also overseeing key operational responsibilities.
We are seeking an individual with substantial experience of quality assurance and enhancement, governance, compliance and regulation within English higher education, particularly in relation to OfS. The successful candidate will have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, experience of supporting senior committees and governance structures, and the ability to translate regulatory requirements into effective institutional policies and practice.
