We are a small, highly collaborative, and busy administrative team responsible for the smooth running of the broader AMRC group, which encompasses approximately 600 staff across multiple sites.

As a core member of our administrative function, we deal with:

  • Financial Administration: Accurately processing purchase orders, reconciling staff expenses, and managing credit card purchases in alignment with university guidelines.
  • Query Resolution & Liaison: Acting as a reliable point of contact for internal staff and external customers; working closely with other University of Sheffield departments, such as the Central Payments Team, to resolve invoice queries.
  • Enquiries: Efficiently managing and filtering general enquiries via email, phone, and face-to-face interactions to ensure a high-standard response.
