Are you an ARB-registered architect working in contemporary professional practice and passionate about helping prepare the next generation of architects?
About the role
The University of Plymouth is seeking to appoint up to three Teaching Fellows in Architecture (0.2FTE / 7.4 hours per week) to contribute practitioner-informed teaching across our Architecture programmes.
We are looking for architects from commercially active and forward-thinking practices who can bring current industry knowledge, professional expertise and contemporary perspectives directly into the curriculum. We are particularly interested in practitioners working at the forefront of technical delivery, professional practice, existing building adaptation, sustainability and emerging modes of architectural production.
You will contribute to design studio teaching, workshops, reviews, technical and professional education, assessment and student development. Through your engagement with students, as a Teaching Fellow, you will help bridge the gap between architectural education and contemporary professional practice, ensuring graduates are equipped to respond confidently to the challenges of the built environment sector.
