University of the Arts London (UAL) is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide proactive, efficient and high-quality administrative and executive support to the Pro Vice-Chancellor Global Affairs (PVC Global Affairs).
The postholder will play a critical role in supporting the effective operation of the Global Affairs portfolio by coordinating the PVC Global Affairs diary, meetings, travel, communications and committee responsibilities. They will also provide planning and coordination support for strategic initiatives and projects that advance UAL’s international partnerships, global reputation and institutional priorities.
Working closely with the Executive Dean’s office, Global Affairs leadership team, Global Engagement and Study Abroad offices, and colleagues across the University, the postholder will help coordinate operational planning, reporting and stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring that the PVC Global Affairs is well supported in delivering the University’s global ambitions.
About you
We are seeking a highly organised, discreet, and professional individual with significant experience of supporting senior leaders.
The Executive Assistant will be confident in managing complex diaries and travel coordination, committee servicing and coordinating senior-level meetings, drafting agendas and notes, and handling sensitive information with tact and judgement. With excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail, they will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex environment, balancing competing priorities and anticipating needs.
